Hola, everyone! my pen name is BluMouse but most call me Blu!

I've currently working on my oldest comic Light within Shadow! I do also have a spin off comic that's currently on hiatus as I build a buffer for it called Morningtide and I work as a colorist on a friends comic called ilworld.

I'm a bit shy but I do love to chat about comics and a lot of other things and try to help fellow comic folks if possible. Nice to meet you all!

Hello Hello!

I'm Jay and my husband and I co-write The Pale-- a supernatural mystery in small town Arizona. We've been posting The Pale online since 2015, but took an extended hiatus by the end of 2021/2022 due to having our first baby!

Now that the kiddo is older and our family situation has evolved-- we're getting back to comic!
I really miss the community I had with webcomics via discord and twitter and I'm hoping to get that back through Spiderforest :)

We finished up a Kickstarter to help complete Vol 2 (which I'm trying to finish before SDCC'26-- I'm crazy I know) and we're going to be having our first Small Press booth this year.

We hope to only do kickstarters for funding trades, and with that help get back to posting pages online again. Day job used to be art full time, freelance for art, but-- yadda yadda life happens, and now I'm happily working part time making sandwiches while spending more time with my family and making comics when we can.
