Summary: The woods are filled with ghosts and beasts.
The world of man is now a dense forest and its protector, the Vigil, disappeared almost 20 years ago.
What started as a simple journey home for Conrad and his guardian, Oliver, becomes a dangerous adventure to save themselves and possibly whats left of mankind.
But the the help they need may come from worst monster of them all. Who is Van? And how is his past tied to the fate of the future?
